Did a 2008 lexus ES 350 today with the push button start. I can't find the door lock wires on the vehicle. I spent a few hours looking for them. I went into the door switch, there are only 6 wires there and none of them test the way they should.
Astrostart and autostart wiring diagram say purple and Brown for lock/unlock (in the kick or BECM). The description that they give is also not right(26pin connect...ect..) Anyone have a better idea on this vehicle? Ive done hundreds of autostarts but never so much of a problem finding the locks.

My info says the same as yours. Did you find a violet or brown wire at all? If so, are you testing the wires with the key in the door lock cylinder.

This is a pushbutton vehicle. There is no Door lock(key) cylinder. There is a small hole below the handle but if you seperate the key from the smart key transmitter it does not go in that small hole.

After you get the door panel off, at the back edge of the door there's like maybe a 6-pin plug, with the wires running toward the front of the door......the lock/unlock wires are in there for sure.
To test them, you have to remove the decorative key-cylinder cover from the outside of the door. You put the car's metal key into that slot, and then pry the cover off, and then it's a key cylinder there like any regular car.
