1996 range rover, autostart remote start

hi

i installed  autostart remote starter in this car the starter wire for this car is negative and also the ign and acc wire negative toi converted  the out put from the remot starter which is posetive and i connected all thes wire when i start the car with the remot the car start but it lhear nois from the engin starter and i connect the tech wire to first  time i see negative ignition and acc wire

any  help please

you sure u got the correct wire, dunno if ur unit can program to voltage, if it can then you can try it, if it still grinds then you may have mixed up ur starter wire with an ign wire. just a thought

what happend again even when i cut off the starter wire the car stil cranck  with that nois

and i need the correct information for this car  1995 and 1996 please

where did you cut ur starter wire from, and you'll find ur wire info in the vehicle wiring database on this site.

i cut  the wire from the starter unit dosnt make any diffrent if i coneect the starter wire  or not

so now ur getting the grinding when u start with the key assume, since it won't start remotely anymore right.

everything is fine with the key  just with the remote starter  is grinding

if it still remote starts and grinds also, and you disconnected the start wire from the unit, you possibly have an ignition wire from the unit hooked up to the start wire in the ignition harness. also, describe how you converted your polarity. did you use relays? if so how are they wired? there may be a problem there as well.
