the blue will be used if your vehicle requires a bypass, the other wires will only need to be used if you have more than one accessory or starter wires in the vehicle, they must be converted to a positive signal by means of a relay, just so you know, in case you need them.

cool thanks. i know i dont have 2 accessory wires, and my wiring diagram shows only 1 starter wire. but i do have 2 ignition wires (thats what it shows for my truck on this site) but my unit only has 1 ignition output. what are my options here? see if it works with just one hooked up? tie both ignition wires into the output?(prolly not tho) or add a relay? thanks dennis

use the negative accesory wire from the harness we were just discussing hook to a relay like this

pins 86 and 30 to 12volts

pin 85 to negative accesory wire from alarm

pin 87 to second ignition

and you're programming the accesory wire to act as second ignition if neccesary.

ram_it01, you can use the pink/white heavy output from the remote start for your ignition 2. Save a precious relay. Pink output is your ignition 1.
For the door locks, use either a 451M, or 2 relays, as per this image:
guidence on first alarm/remote start - Page 2 -- posted image.
On another post(incidentally about a similar Ram), I put down a suggestion as far as definitions of doorlock types. For howie_II's amusement I'll reprint the suggestion here.
1. The very uncommon 4-wire rest-at-open doorlock system should be referred to as such, or 4W RAO, and by no other terms.
2. 5-wire rest-at-ground doorlock systems should be referred to as that, or 5W RAG for short. "Reverse polarity" should no longer be used to refer to a specific doorlock system type.

we are all good. i figured out the second ignition wire, no need for a relay i didnt read the manual good enough the first time. and the door locks went smooth as ice. hooked up the relays for 5 wire and wam bam thank you ma'am works like a charm. Im really pumped. i leased a f-150 for two years and was spoiled with keyless entry, so it was killin me not having it.
I truly appreciate everyones help. cant wait to do my next one thanks again dennis
