I have a Code Alarm, CA-670 and my LCD remote got wet and died. I have a replacement remote but I can't find instructions in the manuals for reprogramming it. Can anyone assist?

I called Code. I may have overlooked it but I couldn't find it in the manuals. I looked there first. The Code support person advised to keep the driver's door open, turn the key to "on", press and hold the valet for 15secs until the alarm chirps 3 times. It's supposed to be in "learning mode" at that point. Press the lock button of the new LCD remote and it will chirp once. That's the deal. Thanks for the links to the manuals though.

The transmitter programming procedure is on the top of page 8 of the Install Guide, on that link that I gave you.

You got it done - that's what counts.

Good Enough Isn't!
