I have also done three 2008 and one 2009 Chevrolet trucks. Yes it can be done. The local dealership does the programming for us, We MUST use new GM Harness #15775843, Clock Spring #15829094 and steering wheel (all parts are purchased from the dealership) and they program it for us (for a fee of course). So far we have four happy customers.
