how can i sub a capacitor?

im sure i need a cap, my volts go down to around 11, i have an 300 amp jump starter wondering if i add a isolator if it would work as a capacitor because it also charges with 12 volt, i weighs a good 15 pounds and starts my v-8 in the dead of winter no prob. if some one has an idea give me a reply thanks!!!

adding a capacitor would do nothing to help.

You could try a product like a xtatic batt cap. It is more or less a batt that act like a cap in the fact it is fast charging. Have you done the big 3? an alt/ and extra batt would be your best bet. along with doing the big 3 and if you do add a alt it is very important you do the big 3. Also you could be over gaining the amplifer trying to gain more sound causing it to clip.

the only prob with that is i have a 75 amp alt. and that is the biggest available alt for my car, so cant do that but how big of a battery should i get? thanks

any alternator can be put on any car. what kind of car do you have? year, make and model.

took me all of 2 mins to find a 200amp alt on ebay for your car. You can also contact iraggi. He can fix you up fast.

Dominick Iraggi. Iraggi alternators 615-287-7991. Dont bother to call unless you are serious about doing an alt. He is a very busy man. But he can do an alt for just about anything.
