You will have to trim. But there are double din kits availible for that truck to secure it.

Autoware302 on ebay had them in there store. $4.99 i think that included shipping. type in "2003 ford f250 double din dash kit" and they will pull right up. Also any local shop should be able to get them and you may be get lucky and they will have it in stock.

It is pretty much the exact same as a single din. Just a bigger case that it is in. The kit will be very thin all the way around it. Get the kit and radio. Test fit it in and then see what clearance issues you have. Then make your plan for triming the stock bezel to make it fit correctly.
