remotes not working

first off i checked the battery's they read 3-3.1v it was working fine tell i installed some led dome lights and now nothing ive tried both remotes pulled the fuse reset the system it has been working just fine tell now

try reprograming your remotes that should help

Make sure battery clips in remote are well soldered to board,  that was a constant problem with Clifford G4 remotes although these are DEI rather than Clifford And make sure you're not in valet mode,  also did you test the batteries under load in the remotes thus eliminating my first comment.

this was brand new in the box its not even a year old was working great the remotes dont do anything i guess ill go get a new battery

Check your CPU, do a voltage test across the pos and neg to make sure it's getting at leat 12.5 volts,  make sure all lugs are solidly in place especially the antenna.  Could you have pinched an antenna wire?  I've seen all these things.

it has been working fine tell i went and put in the led dome light bulbs which isn't even tied into the alarm

Is there a light on the remote? Does it light up when you press a button?   When installing the LEDs, was there a moment where you thought to yourself, Ooh that can't be good? If so describe the moment.
