I just finished installing the compustar CM1000A. i cant get the my remotes setup on it. i did the whole turning igmition on,off 5 times and no response from the alarm i believe it is suppose to flash the lights twice and nothing. i can hear the relay clicking every time i turn the key i even removed the alarms ignition wire and was touching it to 12v to try it that way. Also the alarm is armed not disarmed so i have my door trigger pressed in so it doesnt go off. which i believe is my problem but i have no way to disarm it.
i am an idiot

I have no idea about the Compustar equipment, but some alarms require the door to be open to enter the programming mode.  Is there a valet switch that will allow you to disarm the alarm so you can open the door to enter the programming mode?
