You do not need an OEM unit to install keyless entry on your car...You can get a aftermarket unit for this purpose...Just keyless entry units are super cheap...Betcha around same money as you are paying for the thing above...! And if you can post the manual here...Im sure we can help...! Did you already buy the unit you mentioned...?

Also the wires listed are usually the switch wires...!

Well i liked the idea of using this unit since i would get to do more hands on stuff, and i would be able to use the fourth channel for something of my choosing. (lock, unlock, trunk, idk.) As far as manual, the only manual i ahve found is an owners manual, which contains nothing relevant.

The issue I see here is timing.  Door lock outputs, from alarms and keyless entry units, are typically 0.8 seconds.  The output of your unit doesn't have a timing option (that I saw).  This means you will be overdriving your actuators and you will cause them to fail early.

You can add timing components, but that will get messy pretty quick, when compared to the price of a purpose built keyless system.  You should be able to find a keyless system that has trunk pop and an AUX output.

Yeah...I thought maybe the momentary would work ok...? I was worried about over-driving actuators too...! Hence my hesitation...! Was wondering how long the output was going to be w/ the momentary option...!

The mometary option is triggered as long as the button on the remote is held, therefore it wont be overdriving the actuators. Can someone just tell me which wires i need to cross? Pretend you were to go in the car with nothing but a coat hanger. How would you open and close the doors.

Send a pulse to the wires mentioned... Now how you do this with what you have...Good Luck...Make sure you test door locks to see if your giving them a + or a - pulse...But it is as easy as pulsing them...How long does the output stay active when you do use the momentary option...Any clue...? .5-.8-1.2...? Have you tested this...? How do you know what the minimum pulse will be...?

Are main goal is to assist you in your venture...But to do it without ruining something...!! So here you go...One of these options will work...Depending on door lock polarity...Good luck...!

Thats the thing. I saw all those diagrams. I think that my car has the 5 type, but i was told that it was reverse polarity. either way, i dont know how any of that works. I am not trying to make this complicated. All i want to know is, if you were forced to use nothing but a coathanger to unlock a car, which wires would you cross? Cant someone just tell me the wires that are being crossed when the button on the switch is pressed. Thats all I want to know. When the button to unlock is pressed, which wires in the door are being connected? It doesnt seem like a complicated question... Thank you all for the help.

The wires i posted on the first page are the wires that are "crossed" when you hit lock or unlock...If the car had FACTORY KEYLESS...They are negative trigger...! That means a ground pulse on either the pink/green or pink / YELLOW will lock/unlock...Go buy a meter...If there is a Harbor Freight where you live...$2.99...If not...$15.00-$25.00...Buy one then determine if you have +/- door locks...After this it will be very easy...I dont think you have 5-wire type door locks...! They are probably negative...! But do you want us to tell you to put 12v to a wire that needs ground...? I dont know what else to tell you here...Pink/green...send it a  -/+  pulse and it will lock...Pink / YELLOW...send it a -/+ pulse and it will unlock...So if you attached a wire to each one of these wires(pink / YELLOW...pink/green)...Then touched the other end of THAT wire to ground...it would either lock/unlock depending on which attached wire you put to ground...Same thing if you have + type door locks...Except instead of touching ground...you would touch 12v...and lock would go up or down...! I dont know what else to tell you...THE WIRES ARE THE SWITCH("crossed") WIRES...! Next time re-read the posts...once twice...How ever many times it takes...The answers have been present since the 2nd-3rd post...The rest of the time was used to assist you in not damaging your car or the unit...So I OFFICIALLY retire from this post...All i can say , It was apparent from the beginning you dont want to do this right...You just want to start touching wires...and if you could not understand. what was going on(info in posts)...Take it to somebody who does...Soooo...GOOD LUCK!
