unplug the 12? pin harness that powers the brain for a minute or so and plug it back in.... these units had issues with the out-of-range notification circuit, that was remedied by "rebooting" the brain.....

I found this info any one have any incite on this??

Directed will be shipping out new brians in the next few months with a firmware update that resolves this issue completely. Depending on where it was purchased, I would believe most retailers will do a swap for you when those are shipped and become available. In the meantime there is a fix. Place a 10,000 ohm resistor in series with the blue wire on the antenna lead as close to the brain as possible. Hope this helps!

no you cannot, just add the 10k ohm resistor to the antenna lead as described.

I have the same problem with my 5701 two way remote. Unplugged the brain and still have the same problem. Has anyone added the 10k ohm resistor in series? Just seeing if that works. Thanks
Pete
