I recently purchased a vioer 5901 and had it installed but have a couple questions that I couldnt find in the manual.

1. Is the lcd 2way remote suppose to light up?

2. Can the run timer change currently its at 12 minutes

3. How do you set the time display on the remote?

On the side of the remotetheres 3 buttons the last button will be ur programming button. Will look in a for of an "f" press and hold until u get to the remote programming. You will now when u get to programming mode when u hear a long beep.

Run time choices are 12, 24 and 60 minutes.  On page 50 of the instruction manual

I can not see the bitwriter setting the time on the remote.  What is the model number of the remote?  Have you tried downloading a manual for the remote itself?

yes, you can go into the "remote Setup" menu of the remote to set display color and time/clock display..... the procedure is explained in the owner's manual (RTFM)......run time will need to be changed thru the brain programming menu......

Ok I figured out how to change clock and backlight display last ? What do I have to go under to change runtime I know I can only choose from 12, 24 and 60 min. But I don't see a option to change it.

you dont change it on the remote, you change it thru the main unit programming menu...using the LED and valet switch built into the antenna....
