Thanks for the help, but for the tachometer wire under the remote start section above, what does "uncommon wire" at fuel injectors mean? Is this a typo? Does it mean the common positive wire for the fuel injectors? Or is there a better place to source the needed tachometer feed for the remote start? On the wiring diagram that came with my Compustar system, it says for that lead "Engine Sensing Input (Alt./Tach/Battery)"

I'm installing a Compustar FT-6200S Controller or "Brain".

uncommon wire means at each injector, there will be similar colours for all of them. using the uncommon one or "differant" will work.

On this 2.0L engine, all four injectors have two wires each. They all share a common BLUE power wire, and what you are saying is that I need to tap into one of the other wires (injector 1 has a GRN/BLU, injector 2 has a GRN/YEL, injector 3 has a VIO/GRY, injector 4 has a YEL/ORG). So I tap into one of these 4 wires correct?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it guys! This is only my second remote starter install and I just want to make sure I do it right the first time around. I wouldn't be surprised if I have a few more questions for you guys this afternoon.

Thanks for the verification. One last wire to hookup and then I can start testing the remote starter out.

My last wire is on the Bypass Module (in this case a Fortin Key-Override-SL2.) It's a BLUE wire that is supposed to be connected to a wire on the remote starter; and I don't know which one. The label for this wire is "(-) While Running" and it is a input to the bypass module. Here are my choices on the remote starter:

1) (-) 250mA 2nd starter output

2) (-) 250mA 2nd ignition output

3) (-) 250mA 2nd accessory output

4) (-) 250mA Status Out(GWR)

5) (-) 250mA Rearm output

6) (-) 250mA Disarm output

7) (-) 250mA Horn Output

8) (-) 250mA Aux1 Output

By the way, I left a few out that in my mind there was no way it could be them.

So the big question is, which one is it??
