The problem I am having is when Triggering the 530T via channel one on the 5902 the windows usually roll all the way down instead of venting. The 5902 is set to Validity or Pulsed output and I have tried using a relay but it still pulses too long. The 530 T is set to max resistance I think some of the windows may be out of alignment. Any way to adjust the length of the pulsed output on the 5902 or the input of the 530T

Have you tried grounding that vent wire for a second or less to test that that's actually the problem?

sorry for the late response got busy with finals and all. Yes I grounded the wire for a less then a second manually and it vented fine (i have 2 units for all 4 windows both act the same) but hooked to the alarm they sometimes roll down all the way on the first try its a crap shoot.

Try one of the other aux channels that doesn't have a validity output?

Not the RED / white trunk, it's a validity output, try testing one of the other aux outputs, set to pulse.

The weather didn't cooperate today. However according to the programming section of the install manual the options for AUX 1-4 are Validity, latch, latch reset/ign, with different linking options on each channel. Don't see a pulsed.. but according to DEI validity is pulsed. *scratches head*

Validity is how long the button is pressed on the transmitter. you can set it to be a timed output but need a bitwriter to change the timed output from 30 seconds to 1 second. that might work for you

Yes that's fine, I thought of that but what if you want to completely open the windows?
