I just want to say thanks for all the help. Took the dash a part yesterday and there was a blown in line fuse.  Replaced it, the alarm works like a champ and ma baby starts. Thanks you guys.  I am definitely staying on this website.

Any indication as to why the fuse popped...Might be worthwhile to check ignition harness connections...BTW...How were the connections from the alarm to the car attached(soldered...t-taps...etc)..?Would suck to try and do a repair at night and be away from home should another problem arise...!

No i don't know!  I looked at the ignition harness and it looked good.  the connections are attached by the clear plastic twist connections.  Thank you so much for the concern

If those twist connections are what I think they are, remove, throw them away and solder.
