I know this has been asked before but here goes again.  Does anybody have good experience with a remote start security combo that has inputs to disarm the aftermarket alarm?  I am looking at a ford which has the keyless entry pad on the driver door and well, you get what I'm going for.  There is no factory alarm  on this jalopy so I prefer to have something.  I'm most familiar with dei products but they have jack squat in this dept.  If you got an ace up your sleeve give me a model number and manufacturer so I can locate it.  Thank You

If you like DEI stuff. Get an Automate AM1. Its a factory keyless entry upgrade and is cake to install. I've done about 20 of them.

thanks for all of the replies.  I am  going to go with one of the omega products 91stt listed.  I would like to find one that accepts the blade module for less modules chilling in the car.

Here's a silly question, if a blade module is branded with, say compustar, will it still be compatible with the omega?  I have used idatalink bypasses just not the blade.

Omega are coming out with Blade compatible models but I do not believe they are shipping yet, I'll need to check with my distributor.
These are the combo units
Excalibur AL-1630EDPB, AL-1830EDPB, AL-2030EDPB
edit: the 30 series I listed here can use both ADS/idatalink and Trilogix (DEI) protocols on the dataport.

I hate to ruin your great idea, but if you have an alarm that has a disarm input and tie it to factory unlock and someone breaks into the vehicle...doesn't that mean if they press the unlock button on the inside, it will disarm the alarm as well? Just a thought.
