Hey guys, I have a 88 firebird that i am trying to install a Clifford 3.3X on... The alarm is working correctly however the Remote start is another problem... I have the starter and ignition wires hooked up correctly but when i hit the button on the remote it acts as if im turning the key but wont crank. I have also noticed that the fuel pump is not engaging prior to the crank. This vehicle does not have VATS on it because there is not a chip in the key.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not familiar with the unit but isn't the RED / WHITE suppose to go to a 12 volt constant on the H3 connector?

Yes also, and this seems to be a common problem, atomic spark, please power up RED / white.

Sorry my internet access is screwed up, I knew there was something missing here I had to down load the wiring diagramme from DEI, it's
H3/9 RED / BLACK, power it up, it feeds starter and accessory.
The RED / white on H/3 Jeff feeds the flex relay and thus isn't used here.

I thought there was suppose to be 2 12 volts leads on the DEI stuff. Regardless, your missing one of the two 12 volts as Howie stated above.

3 12v+ inputs on the R/S side:
Red for ignition.
RED / Black for start and ACC
RED / white for flex relay.
Atomic spark, correct.
