USE A METER AND VERIFY ALL WIRES. I can't help you if you're just randomly hooking stuff up how a diagram you found online tells you. get a multimeter and test your wires. I know for a fact that car has a second starter wire, and since you didn't mention it that means to me that you aren't testing your wires.

I have a multi meter but I have no clue how to use it I didn't hook it up randomly? I made each connection according to the diagram mentioned on the site in that link

One of the posts
GREEN to key side of cut starter wire.
Violet to car side of cut starter wire.
You must test these wires, DON'T ASSUME.
I can see from the answers you aren't testing so how can we give you any advice?

I can't even begin to point out some of the errors you people made on your charts because there are so many of you jumping the bloody thread.
This has got to be one of the simplest vehicles around. Get the tach from the coil, the engine management or the back of the instrument panel.

you'd have no problem with the ignition wires if you were testing your wires. that's really the best advice i can give you since i know for a fact it is not hooked up properly, because i've looked at the diagrams for 240sx's and they're generally wrong in comparison to the ones i've owned.

The H3/7, Pink/White comes default as Ignition 2. It can be changed to starter 2.  Menu 3, Item 8, Option 3.  The install manual will explain how to do that.   If you don't have the install manual for the 5701, it can be downloaded from this site in the downloads section.  There is a section in the manual as to how to test for the wires you need.  If you don't have a DMM, GET ONE.  Then start testing the wires, and connecting them one at a time.

You can't connect wires according to some diagram online.  You must test and verify each wire.  Without doing that, you are wasting your time and getting frustrated.

Read the install manual.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions
