i have the 30 going to the door's lock and 87a going to the master switch side.  And I am sure diodes not backwards because I looked at the picture and I looked at the diodes to make sure the mark is at the bottom.

disregard what i was saying about the negative starter output. i got it confused with another thread.

or just eliminate the relay. the 4113 is a 1 button remote and has no lock function. if you use the 2 diodes to the brown and yellow wires with the bands facing the remote start it will unlock

yeah but why not just do it right and he can always go ahead and program a fob with keyless and such to it later.
