More updates...

H1/3  BROWN  (-) HORN OUTPUT   Test with DMM - could be BLACK / YELLOW

H1/8  GREEN  (-) DOOR TRIGGER INPUT   -  necessary to program Viper.  See Note 3 - ( Could use XK01 Pin 4 Violet/White: (-) Door Sense Trigger Output )

NOTE *3 This vehicle use (2) door pin triggers, the DRIVERS DOOR is a GREY/BLACK (-)
at the DRIVERS DOOR module in the DRIVERS DOOR. The PASSENGER DOOR is a BLACK/ WHITE (-)
at the PASSENGERS DOOR module in the PASSENGERS DOOR. The DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a
LIGHT BLUE/BLACK (-) Pin A3 and the PASSENGERS REAR DOOR is a LIGHT GREEN/ BLACK (-) Pin A2,
both are located at the BCM, PURPLE plug. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use all 4 Door
Trigger wires and DIODE ISOLATE. to connect, See DIAGRAM

Remote start auxiliary output, 5-pin

1  PINK/WHITE  (-) 200mA FLEX RELAY CONTROL OUTPUT
2  ORANGE  (-) 200mA ACCESSORY OUTPUT
3  VIOLET  (-) 200mA STARTER OUTPUT
4  PINK  (-) 200mA IGNITION 1 OUTPUT
5  BLUE  (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT  -  This wire goes to XK01 Brown wire GWR signal ( not GWA )

Soldering is fun!

My personal opinion is that the XK01 is not desirable in these vehicles (GM trucks), and the support from the manufacturer is nil... scratch that. The support from the manufacturer is something like "Oh well, it works on other vehicles, so we don't care".
I struggled with an XK01 on my 06 chevy, and eventually dumped it for an INTSL (I think it might actually be a GMADSL or something). Either way, punt the XK01 and find another bypass. Not do so early on cost me a set of batteries for my rig.

GWA not needed.

As for the door triggers, the 5301 isn't an alarm system, so all you need is the Drivers Door Trigger connected or you could use the XK01 Front Door Status Output, mentioned above, connected to the Viper.  No diodes, just th one wire.  This excerpt from page 37 of the 5301 Install Guide :

The Valet/Program switch, plugged into the blue port, is used for programming.

There is a basic sequence to remember whenever programming this unit: Door,
Key, Choose, Transmit and Release.

Soldering is fun!
