Ok, I'm back....
Dja think I'm having luck? Off to client. Manage the carpark (south-eastern freeway and most things before that). On time schedule wise then clank - driver's wiper blade off the arm onto bonnet. Stop, move passenger are to driver side. Mental note - SuperGlue's 3 months must be up; re-glue blade assembly to arm tonite.
Leave client 3 hours later (10pm). Why not take up metal-mate's invitation to a gig? Yeah - only adds 20km to the 50 minute trip.
10 minutes from gig. Hit a bad bump. Funny - why did my blue-LED voltmeter go out? Stop for red lights (I'm in a good mood). Why did car stall? Okay - what blew the meters & charging fuse.
Pull over and blow about eight 15A & other fuses. Stuff it - tape voltmeter & carby solenoid bullets to 2 spare +12V spades. I'm off!
2 beers, 2 hours, and feel 2 psst at gig.
Retire to car. Raining. Wipers, I mean - wiper on. No on. No wipe.
Dead fuse is meters & wiper circuit. Burn another 2x15A fuses, and another jumper lead (alligator clips).
Get home with no wiper.
I start tomor... today at 7am and might finish 10pm.
Forecast - "clearing shower".
I bet it's "flood clearing".
We SEasterners have had floods too!
Our former-former Prime Minister should undo his pray for rain.
And his curse on my vehicle.
01:50. Bed time!
