Typically on Fords, the GREEN/ Violet wires are +12 volt constants.  Most every source says Gray / YELLOW is ACC1.  The Blue/Green must be powered and as an Ignition.  The guides are only guides and the DMM will always be correct.

Here is a diagram for wiring extra relays : http://www.wiringinstructions.com/v2/diagrams200/235%20-%20Adding%20Extra%20Ignitions.pdf

Soldering is fun!

Where did you run your tach wire? Fords need to go to fuel injector for tach signal. Is the security light flashing when you remote start the vehicle or solid?

Thanks for the help. I thought that possibly one of the other Ign. wires is causing it not to turn over. There is no tach wire hooked up as I am running the virtual tach as it is an automatic. No pats light lights up when it is cranking, tryed it with the key in the Ign. too. Sounds like it just doesn't have spark which leads me to believe one of the other Ign. is controlling that. I will try and hook up the Blue/Grn wire, does this go to Ign. 1 or Ign 2? Thanks for all the help.

***For the love of god run a tach wire and see what happens, takes maybe five minutes*** Doesn't matter if it's an automatic or not.
If you programmed for virtual tach but never let the Viper learn the signal then it wont do anything when you try to remote start the vehicle. to learn virtual tach you have to sucessfully let it remote start until the parking lights come on and then shut it down with the remote.

or unplug the H1 harness and lay a screw driver across the terminals for 15 seconds, plug it back and try to remote start it again.

I'll hook it tomorrow morning and see what it will do. I am also going to try and add a couple relays in the Ign. and see if that helps. Thanks for all the input I appreciate it.

Everything is up and running, had to change the Ign 2 wire to the Blue/Grn wire and the Acc. to the BLACK/ Grn wire. The only thing that is not working at this time is the Bypass, Can't seem to get it programmed. I heard these were a pain in the butt. Anyone know any tricks to get this working?

Here is a link to the Fortin Key-Override-All install guide.  They are the same as far as

programming.  https://ifar.ca/en/download/391/preview.html

Here are the actual wire colors for TX and RX.  The PATS connector is about 8 inches down

the steering column from the ignition switch.

                                  TX                           RX

                          Pin   Color                Pin    Color
F-150 99-02    4   WHITE/ LtGreen    3    Gray/Orange

Does the D2d things on the back of the Viper brain have be vertical or horizontal. Does it matter what IGN wire it is hooked to. I was thinking I should try hooking it to the Blue/Grn wire on IGN 2 as this shows 8 volts when cranking. I will double check the Pats wires but I believe they are hooked up right.
