What's the reason for a valet key? I've always seen it on the fourums but never knew what it's purpose was.

Typically on a 2 key system- it turns on ignition and opens door, but does not open glove box or trunk- so that  a high class joint's parking valet has access to your car but not to your valuables...but times have changed- we now have one key does it all systems - so some may say a valet key will be one that opens door, but does not have a transponder in it to start car- I typically call that a service key....just my thoughts on the matter..

Also use it when installing a 556 type unit in BMWs,the regular key "talks" to the car and it won't lock etc. when using an R/S.

Pretty much as described, on Toyota's the Valet doesn't do trunk or glove box. That is all changing as new Toyota's are not including them...

also, you bypass modules wont program with valet keys, not sure why. different immobilizer code?

I have remote start from Autostart. Recently appeared "V" on the screen and doesn't allows to me to start my car. I guess, it's the valet key. How to disable it? I Can't find user's manual.

Nothing to do with Valet key, my guess is you've placed the alarm in valet mode, check your owner's manual.
