Hi,
I am trying to install Python 1401 remote starter/keyless entry system in my 2004 Honda Civic SE. I am not a Pro but i know i can do it.
I have easily installed door lock/unlock but having issues with starter.
I read in one of the forum posts that viper 5101 is similar to python 1401. i tried to follow install instruction from that as well but no success.
Problem is that my Civic has
Starter (+)
Ignition 1 (+) (Only 1 ignition wire)
Python Starter kit has (Two ignition 1 wires)
Starter Output (+)
Ignition 1 Input/Output (+)
12VDV Constant input for ignition 1 Relay
Which one of these two ignition wires I should attach to civic?
And is there any other wire that i need to connect for ignition?
How does engine start without key inside ?
Please and thank you.

what bypass module are you using?

connect Ign 1 (pink) to your Ign wire... Flex output not used... dont hook up the RED / white flex primary....

I am not using bypass module yet.
Is that to override the anti-theft system (If I am right)?
I will do more research on it.
I appreciate you answer thanks.

And no, you can try to install it on your own thread and we might help.
To the first poster you will get no further without a by-pass.

2007 is in the Vehicle Wiring section, 1401 should be in Downloads/Manuals or go to Viper's site, support section.
