What firmware version is written on the module? Has to be 4.00 or higher.
What does the LED on the module do when you try to program?
Also, you have to start the car and let it run to program the module. Just turning the key to ignition won't do it.

Version 4.01 module . I held program button in while plugging connector 2 first then connector 3 on the back and finally connector 1 -power .When led came on released button- light stays on
Insert key and turn ignition on
Start car and wait
Red light stays on solid -no flashes

This is a stupid question but do you have 12vdc on the red wire. I am not familiar with this unit, but I know on DEI's unit the red button will light up just like this but will not program if you do not have 12vdc on the red wire. Just had this issue with a DEI DB-ALL two days ago. Thought i had power but didnt and it wouldnt program just like Fortin is with you. Just a thought.
