I just installed a clifford 4112x in aFORD f-350 2002 7.3L diesel w/manual trans w/o factory keyless entry. I have a couple of Questions? 1st power locks inop, 2nd remote start inop. Only park light and horn works, statup diag flash #7 manual trans. mode enabled and not initialized, shutdown diag also, 7 flashes timer/turbo/manual mode error. Looking at powerlock circuit pk/yel, and pk/grn are grounded when switch isn't activated. Do I need another module or something to somehow simulate the switch? Also, on no start ,no power going to starer wire or acc wire, checked wire to brake switch- open circuit, tried grounding parking brake wire, safety switch is ON, hood switch is open circuit, tried pressing in clutch and still no crank,Is there other diag to pinpoint what cause no crank? What is correct way to wire heavy gauge H3 connector 8-pin can pin 2,5,&8 be wired to 12v constant ,pin 4 to starter,pin3 to acc,pin 1 to ign. Or is completlly wrong and thats why it doesn't work.

Any info and advice greatly appreciated.

Here is what I just posted in your other thread.  Hopefully this helps.

The 7 clicks is telling you that the truck is in manual transmission mode.  You have to do a sequence for it to remote start in manual mode.  With the truck running, press the remote start button until the LED on the valet comes on, get out, close the door, lock the door via the remote.  The truck should turn off.  Now when you try the remote start it should work.  You have to do this every time if you are in manual transmission mode, this way it knows the truck wasnt left in gear.  Its a safety feature.

DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK I DO NOT ADVISE LEAVING IT THIS WAY

Make sure the truck is in neutral.  Ready the manual and change it to automatic transmission mode.  If everything is hooked up correctly, the truck will start without doing the above sequence.  Again you should only do this to test if everything else is working.

We did a 02 F250 diesel the other day, I don't recall off hand what color the lock/unlock wires were but we didnt use any relays.  Depending on which lock system you have, the lock wires could be:

PINK / YELLOW is for LOCK and the PINK/LIGHT GREEN is for UNLOCK

OR

LOCK is a WHITE/ RED (-) and the UNLOCK is a BLACK/ WHITE

Both are negative triggers meaning you can run the wires straight from the remote start to the apprroriate wires.

H1/4 - parking light isolation wire - Should not need for this truck

H1/9 - dome light supervision output - Controls dome light, optional wire

H1/12 ground when locked output - Should not need for this truck

What about Heavy Gauge Remote Start  H3 Does H3/1,H3/2,H3/5, H3/8  go to ign. pwr and can they be spliced into the same wire? also, if H3/4 is starter output do you splice into green wire @ ign. switch or is H3/8 on key side and cut green wire. What about tach input and wait to start input?

All of the below for heavy gauge 8 pin - All connections should be made at ignition switch

Pink - Should go to ignition 1 - On the truck it should be WHITE/ yellow or RED / light green, only the pink wire should go here
The RED / White wire should go to 12v+ constant - on the truck it should be yellow or light GREEN/ purple
Orange - Accessory - To Grey / YELLOW in truck
Violet - Starter wire - To dark green in truck
Red - To 12v+ constant - on the truck it should be yellow or light GREEN/ purple
Pink/White - To ignition 2 - On the truck should be RED / black
Pink/Black - Not used in this application
RED / Black - To 12v+ constant - on the truck it should be yellow or light GREEN/ purple

Since all of the fused connections on the heavy 8 pin need to go to constant, twist them together and make one connection.

Tach input - at any coil wire EXCEPT RED / light green.  RED / light green should be common at all coils.  The other wires will vary in color at each coil.  Use the uncommon color at any coil.

Wait to start - You'd need to find the wait to start wire/light.  On that truck we couldn't find an easy one so we programmed the remote start to wait 30 seconds to start after receiving command.  You can program it via the valet programming.  You need to change menu 3 feature 9 to option 2 for a 15 second delay, option 3 for a 30 second delay, or option 4 for a 45 second delay.  If you are in a cold climate, I'd set it to option 3 for a 30 second delay.

You aren't in MN by chance are you?

The poster mentioned it was a diesel would it therefore have coil wires?
Could I suggest an inductance pick-up such as the DEI 464T for diesels?

Good call, I just found this as well for diesels. (specific to F350 2002) Could be another option.

On diesel vehicles the tach wire is green or white, in a 42 pin plug under the clamp on the engine side of the air intake duct.

Installed remote start /keyless entry system in 2002 f-350 crewcab 7.3L diesel w manual trans w/o factory keyless entry. Unable to start in manual trans mode - 7 flashes, switch to auto trans mode, starts if you hold clutch in. Does the clutch safety switch need to be bypassed? and also noticed when it goes to start, dash lights ,radio, etc. turns on for a few seconds, turns off for a few seconds ,turns on and starts up and runs. h3 connector pin 1 - rd/grn ign, pin 2,5,&8 - yel., pin 3 - gry/yel, pin 4 - grn,pin 6 -rd/blk.

Also, having issues with power door locks, installed on pk/grn and pk/yel wires and didn't work ,looked at wiring diagram and noticed wires grounded at rest position, door lock output is neg switching, so I had to install relays to lock and unlock the doors however, they had to be tied into pk/bk and pk/og  in l/s kick panel between switch and actuators only to have only the l/f door lock operate with keyless entry and all doors operate with door switch.
