Ok when hooked up as per + diagram I get factory remote working for trunk, but not viper. Upon further investigation, RED / white output on viper trunk release is outputing .6v not 12 volts..did I fry it? Or was it not ever working? It seems as if when I cut the trunk release wire WHITE/ Blue and put 12 volts to the rear circuit it triggers trunk release, when I put 12v to the circuit side it blows a fuse...Seems as if a diode would be better suited..however if the RED / white output is not putting out 12v then something is amiss..

Nevermind I'm a complete jackleg..When hooked up as a negative circuit it works just fine...a 2 second delay but works as prescribed..
Thank you so much for your patience..

The top diagram should work.  The Vipers (-) trunk release output on Pin 85 will energize the relay ( assuming a constant +12v on Pin 86 ).

To test the Vipers H1/1 trunk release output, set the DMM to 20V DC.  Connect the Red lead to +12V constant and the Black lead to the Viper H1/1 RED / White (not connected) wire.  When it outputs a trunk release signal the DMM should go to +12V.

Soldering is fun!

Kreg, not sure if you got my PM, I sent that item out to you and you should have it by now..just checking to make sure it got there ok..
Also, one odd behavior out of this system...when I use the viper remote all works as it should. when I unlock the car with factory remote about 30 seconds later it relocks by itself...
Is this a setting of some sort? I cant find anything on it other that auto relock but I didnt hook any of that up wiring wise and its odd to me it only happens when I use the toyota key fob..
Just curious.
Thank you!
Bill

that is the auto-relock that is standard on all OEM keyless entry modules.
you can turn off the auto relock feature. I did it for my sisters toyota camry xle-V6. i forgot what i had to do, but you can ask for the instructions from any toyota dealer. That's where i got mine from.

Hi Bill,

Got the PM, thanks.  Mail might be slow due to the Holidays.

The auto re-lock thing sounds like the normal function of the Camry itself.  Don't think it has anything to do with the R/S install.  Check the Camry Owners Manual to see if that function is listed.  Did a search and found a few forums that describe this re-lock as a normal safety function of the Camry.  The Camry can also be programmed to 3 different door lock scenarios.
