[QUOTE=rodeolove] To the 5701 can use the 7351v remote if we upgrade the antennae to the 6211T (10D). Which this basically makes the 5701 a 5901.QUOTE]
Correction the the 6211t doesn't make the 5701 a 5901, the 6211t has a Gen 1 IVU and GEN 2 IVU.
To make the 5701 a 5901 requires the 6711t antenna/receiver and uses the 7752 or Hd 7941 7652 remotes.

No, you need a 6211t with a date code of 10D or newer for the LC3 7351v. They may be a newer version of the 6211t that will work for both types of remotes but haven't found out a Date code or part number to verify it yet.
The LC3 7351v LE (2500 Ft.)remote is a non SST remote that works with the 6211t antenna.
The LC3 7752v is the SST version (1 mile range) as well as the HD 7941v Remote that works with the 6711T antenna.
Substituting the letter at the end of these remote models will get you the same remote different case.
V = Viper
P = Python
X = Clifford

If pairing fails you need to check a few things below
Things to verify,
3. Delete all remotes, Then attempt pairing.
7. Verify the correct (System type) mode of the 7351 is set to match your system ie (Remote start & Security for the 5701) not (Remote start).
3. is there anyway to delete them besides using a bitwriter?
7. how can i verify this? i have the first gen 5701 susan g komen version (pink one). if that matters
long story making it short.
my 5701 system both remotes went to doodie. did my research found the 7351v says it is compatible with 5701. searched google and i found this forum talking about the alarm. found that it needs an upgraded antennae 6711t to make it work, so i purchased it. now i am stucked and i cant pair it up to my existing alarm 5701.
lurch228. i will try those other suggestion you posted. but if you know soemething pls reply back thanks

Do you know the date code of your 5701? It can be found on the original antenna or the main unit it's self.

A functioning remote is needed to delete all remotes without a bitwriter.
As I don't own or have a 7351v remote to test with the 6711t antenna.
Others say the 6711t is supposed to work but has not been verified that I know of with the 7351v remote. The 7351v is verified to work with a 6211t antenna that is date code of 10D or newer.
With the 6711t antenna you have you can use a 7652v/p/x, 7752v/p/x, and 7941v/p/x.
When I upgraded the Viper 5601 from the 6111t to the 6711t for the LC3 remotes. The LC3 7752v would not pair, until I paired a 7652v to the 6711t and then deleted all remotes and then it paired the LC3 7752v the first time with out a problem.
So to upgrade to the LC3 7752v with a 5601 you need to delete all remotes and start fresh with the 6711t antenna to get the LC3 remote to pair successfully.

i did talked someone from viper via facebook. tried to seek extra help.
Viper: We just noticed that you have the pink edition of the 5701. The 7351V remote will only program to the newer version of the 5701 (the one with an 18-pin main harness). The pink edition has not been manufactured since 2010 so it is not compatible.
Me: Even if you changed the antenna to 6711t?
Viper: The 6711T is only for SST remotes. The 7351V is not an SST remote. However, if you were to swap out the antenna to a 6711T you could use a 7752V remote which looks just like a 7351V but has 1 mile range.
me: I checked 3303v. It uses 7351v remote and uses same antennae as a 5701? So it really the brain not compatible at all?
Viper: That is correct.
me: So if those 2 works. Then the main brain of my alarm is not exactly compatible with 7351v remote? Even if i upgrade my antennae?
Viper: It depends on the production date. There was a cutoff in 2010 where the 5701 brain became compatible. However, the pink edition stopped production prior to that and was never compatible with the 7351v.
it sucks though. i already purchased my remote 7351v and antennae 6711t. i am running of options. but i really need my alarm get back up and running.

The production date is a general date code for the units shipped and the antenna with a pre 10D remote won't work, but the brain will work with a antenna that is 10D or newer. As they probally didn't test this out they are just covering their backsides. I have told a few people with pre 10D units (non-pink remotes) to update the antenna to a 10D or later and they have replied back that it worked with the 7351.
If they say that a 6711t will work with a 7752 with your brain then the 10D or later 6211T should work with the 7351 and your brain.
You already have the remote so you have 2 options find a 6211t antenna and test for youself, or sell the 7351 and buy a 7752 to work with your 6711t you have. I got my last 6211t for free and the last 6711t for $20 shipped from ebay. You can use a 6211t from any alarm only, remote start or alarm remote start combo that has the 10D or later date code from any of these brands viper, python, clifford. Use this page to cross reference any unit that uses a 7251 remote: Transcross
Then let the hunt begin for a used or refurbished complete unit to swap the antenna and keep for a spare give as a gift or resell as the older date code antenna will work with the unit you buy with out any programming needed. Will just need some new 3M doubled side tape which any autoparts store will have one for sure is advanceautoparts.

I'm suprised they admitted that the 6711t will work with your pre 10D date code unit, as they wan't you to buy a new system not buy cheap upgrades.
