The 6211t antenna/receiver should have a white sticker on the thin part on the sticky side towards the windsheild that reads OK/10D or later for the 7351 to work with your system.

The date code reads as 10 for the year 2010 and D is the month (starting with A would be Janurary).

ok cool. so yea i was able to exchange my 6711t antennae for a 6211t. now i found on the sticker says 12E on the back.
i tried to pair up still no go. so now it stopped raining here in the bay and got the chance to verify my unit/brain date.
my brain is dated back in 08 of may. it has dual dial for month and yr. so im assuming the reason why it wont pair it is because my brain/unit is the first gen, per viper there was a cut off date for a 5701 to be compatible with the remote 7351v.
so not my last attempt to use this remote. i will try to talk to my guy who installed my alarm which is an authorized dealer to help me out and see if we can get an exchange for my brain by using my warranty.
ill will update you guys later.

I had the same issue with my 7752 remote not pairing to a viper 5601 with 2-way SST upgrade antenna. Had to pair a 7652 one way remote to the viper [DATE CODE OK/9D] 5601 {as the 5601 was purchased with out any remotes or antenna} with 6711t antenna first then delete all remotes and then pairing the 7752 remote to the viper 5601 was successful the first time. Which is why I can't stress enough that deleting all remotes with an already paired remote and starting fresh eliminates most of the issues. If a 9D datecode on sticker or 9-1 on clock arrows dials in plastic isn't proof enuff that the 10D date code is not tied to the brain but only the antenna its self.

I tried to pair my 7351v remote to my 5701 remote start. unsuccessful. tried deleting all remotes then tried that way. nothing. my antenna has 9b on the back. Is that something I'm going to have to change? vipers website lets you put in your remote start model # and gives you a list of remotes that are compatible in which the 7351v was listed. reading about the antenna situation kind of makes me wonder if its BS. Thanks for any help

Update to a 10D or newer antenna and it will pair with your 5701.

Lurch I'm back!! I've tried to follow whats going on. And I'm still (I'm sorry) a little confused.
My 5701 brain says 9F (or some other letter, its definitely not 10 anything)
Now my new antenna is a 6211T (10d)
Just to be Clear the 7351v remote will NOT work for the configuration I have.
But if I switch my remote to the 7752V remote (using the new 6211T antenna) everything should work?!!?

I also think its funny that viper no longer evern shows the crappy 7251V remote on their list of remotes.
Must be because of all the complaints of the battery case always breaking!!
Which is the whole reason most of us are going through all this to begin with!

Here is what I have for my bench testing unit:

Pyhton 872 18 Pin model...date code 9-11

6711t Antenna...date code  10I

Python 7752 remote...date code 12f

Clifford 7941   date code unknown..bought this a few days ago from E-Bay. Guy said he has had it for a few years?? No date code on package.

These two remotes pair up with this remote starter with no issues.  When I switch it back to the 6211t antenna, the older style LE remotes work with the Python 872.

Are you following the pairing procedure for the remotes as well as the 5701?
