If they test negative then you shouldn't need relays the 4103 output is a neg trigger. How did you test the wires where were your red and black leads ?

5 wire is how you have it. You said you're having problems what is happening ?   1 thing I noticed you have 1 relay for lock pink / YELLOW and 1 for unlock pink/green correct. You wrote used a relay just wanted to make sure you didn't tie both lock and unlock to one relay

Does your car have the keypad on the door?  If so, it should be type B, negative switching.  Did you try jumpering your doorlock wires to ground once you tested and found the correct ones?

Are you trying to do this with one relay ? You need to use 2 one for lock and one for unlock
1st relay should be
87 to fused 12 volts
30 to motor side of cut wire
87a to switch side of cut wire
85 to either lock or unlock coming from 4103
86 to fused 12 volts
Relay 2 wired the same just put the other lock or unlock wire on pin 85 which ever you didn't use on the other relay

To rmp219:

That really doesn't look correct to me.  ( Relay Pin 87A does not go to chassis ground.)
Download DEI Tech Tip 1041 from the download section and refer to Page 6 for Type C
identification and proper relay wiring.  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=708

Also download the DEI 451M install guide and check out that info on Type C locks.

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=726

The 12 Volt  has a relay wiring diagram :  https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#5w

The 451M will be the easiest to implement.

Soldering is fun!
