You should be able to change the parking light output to constant, Menu 3, Item 12, Option 1
that is the default setting which i did not change. the wire they tell you to use seems to be activating the flasher not the running lamps, thats all, guess i could try the optional wiring to the relay under the hood but i dont feel like running another wire through the firewall, lol

Looks like you only need a door pin for RAP shutdown.  While the DB-ALL info says the Violet

wire is in the DKP, Omega says it's inside the door.  Did you check inside the door?  You could
use a DMM to see if the DB-ALL GREEN / WHITE wire at Pin 3 of the 12 Pin connector gives you the
(-) Door Pin signal you need.

You can always run a (-) Parking Light wire from the Clifford into the engine compartment fuse

box and connect to Pin 85 of the Jeeps' Parking Light relay.

Soldering is fun!

thats what im asking what is RAP shutdown anyway. i know its remote accessory power, but when i open the door radio turns off like normal...i checked the door connector and there is no violet, there is plenty of multi colored purple wires in the huge harness under the carpet but nothing straight purple and none of them come or go to the door harness plugs... im thinking i dont even need to hook it up at this point

DB-ALL limitation?

While the ADS iDatalink bypass module for your Jeep has a separate Disarm input wire, it appears the DB-ALL doesn't.  Have you tried setting the Clifford
for Unlock before and Lock after start ( if possible )?  Can't do too much troubleshooting with D2D...

Perhaps a call to XPresskit is in order.

i emailed directed and the tech told me safe lock needs to be turned on in the alarm, going to try it tonight, he said menu 3 option 16, which i dont think they even list that high in the sheet that comes in the box... two honks is on, so default setting must be off for a single honk....

Here is it from the install guide.

Menu 3, Item 16.        Remote start Safelock

Off: the Door lock and Factory Alarm Re-arm outputs will maintain the current status (locked/un   locked) during remote start and after shut down
On: the 2. Door lock and Factory Alarm Re-arm outputs will arm/lock the vehicle during remote start and after shutdown

Let us know how it works out.

Soldering is fun!
