I am not a fan of D2D and do not use many Directed bypass modules.  That being said, the Tach ( and the other 2-way

signals ) should be OK going D2D to the Viper.  The Tach signal from the DB-ALL has nothing to do with the DB-ALL
being programmed to the truck.

As far as I can see, you should be able to program the DB-ALL to your truck with only +12V, ground and the OBD2 Data

wires connected.  In your case the +12V and ground are coming thru the D2D harness from the Viper.  The DB-ALL
Violet / YELLOW wire from Pin 2 of the 14 Pin connector should be properly soldered to the Violet wire at Pin 2 of the OBD2
plug.

Soldering is fun!

Are you starting the truck or just turning the ignition on?

Hey guys

I am installing  a directed 530 t module on a 04 chevy silverad with a 5704 viper. do I need to connect the wires only on the drzivers door or do i need to  run wires to passenger door?this truck has the single push rooll down feature from factory on both windows. Do i need to do something special to keep that feature?thanks!

I would think yes, the one shot up and down on the 530t only works if connected directly to both sets of motor wires.
There's a possibility your passenger window won't work if connected at driver's door.
Connected that way it will enhance the features.

There is a section on the install manual for setting the dip switches to deal with higher resistance -
The 530T uses internal resistors to change the amount of force required to drive the window motors. These resistors are controlled by a group of dipswitches on the side of the module. Some vehicles use very efficient motors and little force is needed. This would require the switches to be set to a low setting. Some newer imports, such
as Honda Accords and Civics, may require a lower setting. Others use very inefficient motors, or the windows seem “harder” to roll up. Some examples would be older domestic cars, as well as many full-size pickups. These vehicles require the switches to be set to a higher setting.
Confirm the GWA from the alarm is connected to the correct GWA wire on the window module (not assuming you don't know how, but good to check). Also, I would also try grounding the Aux wire to test if the module will close the windows all the way.
