which 2 way alarm with the best range?

i dont know why, because they are supposed to be the same products, but i find that python remotes are made a little better than their viper equivalent. even now i have a python remote programmed to my viper 5901 because the original viper remote is beat up and the little speaker is blown. ive never seen a remote with a blown speaker except this one and it was only used for about a year, my python keypad is also about a year old and it is still working perfectly. the keypads might be different from python to viper but the actual brains and the way they function are identical so you cant really say that one is definitely better than the other.
