Hi,
My car is a Toyota Avensis... do you know it?
I want the best car alarm without remote start and... around 150usd.
I think, with your comments, the best option will be Audivox, Viper or Python; is it oorrect?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Eric we'll catch up.
capi, the Avensis is easy but you're well away on the price plus installation.
Viper 3303 in Spain plus installation?
The Compustar equivalent whilst much better is probably more expensive.
Look at Amazon US.

Avensis is easy of what?
I thought in the model 350; I prefer these remote control than 3303 --> http://www.viper.com/P-3305V/Viper-Responder-350-2-way-Security-System
I want install it alone with some friends...

350; Very cheap, entry level technology, poor (failure prone) remotes. Best not at all cheap, yes.
Install it with your friends, sounds like a recipe for disaster.
English expression, "too many cooks".
The Avensis is easy if you are a pro and you know Toyotas.

bufff, it is very diffucult to find a cheap car alarm, hehe.

ok, I do not explain very well... I will do the installation with a friend; I am not considered a pro; but I know the car very well; I change all my installation of car audio, I change all wires for the audio, I have a false bottom in the trunk, so I think I can install it. Moreover, I have already located all wires necessary for the installation of the car alarm:

- central lock

- electric windows

- door lock

- warnings

- +

- -

- ACC+

I just need the door back open. What could go wrong?

All inside doors, there should be a plug with cables going to the doom light.
At the dome light you have 3 wires.
Constant 12V+.
Constant ground or grounded (earth, mass) by the fixing screws)
Switched ground when the door opens.
The last is your all door NEG (-) trigger, going to green on the alarm.
Trunk (rear) trigger find the colour that goes to ground through a micro-switch in the slam lock, that's the one, it should go to the fusebox/BCM in the front, TEST.
Best of luck.
