Just finishing up an install on an Audi A4 2007 , Viper 5301 and DBALL Flashed with 401.VWAUDI 2.03.04....everything is working fine except the Viper unit does not Unlock the vehicle and only locks. The DBall is connected D2D, I also tried doing the unlock and lock wires W2W, but still nothing, changed settings to double pulse and same thing.....just wondering if anybody else has ran into this issue. Trying not to go into the doors to get the door unlock wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

You have to do it all W2W or all D2D not half and half. DBALLS Suck! I will never use them. I use what works Idatalink.

Redo it as W2W, unfortunately go directly into the driver door module for lock and unlock, extend the lock time (comfort close) for window roof (when applicable) closing.
Even with W2W going back to 04, you can't unlock unless you go into the door.

See my post on the 09 A3, this worked perfectly originally. I think DEI are having an on going software problem with the DB-ALL and VAG cars.

What really worries me is that about the time we came across this problem, they removed the install info from the Xpresskit site!
Hmm, is there something DEI aren't telling us?

Sorry, it's me, they've deleted it from the European section.
We still can't use the IM wires but have to use the 556.
There are still lots of CAN differences on seemingly the same vehicle, either side of the pond.

Yes, many inconsistencies. I stumped their tech staff on the C6 A6 I did back in December. They definitely have bugs in the firmware. I will not use another DBall if I can help it.
