looking to install an after marked double din touch screen
need wire color codes
its a 06 porche cayman S with the bose system
do I need any extra parts?

Oem amp is fiber optic so you need to bypass it

is there an application to bypass it or a hook up I can buy?
I know at installerDOTcom I can buy a wiring harness kit but its 645.00
any one have any suggestions?

Leave well alone and learn to spell Porsche. If it's the Sat Nav version you might pick up the speaker leads at the amp, r/h/rear but it's all fibre optics, no cutting or joining.
$625 sounds about right for that vehicle.

Re-wire from headunit to "new" speakers. As Howie said, it's a 10 foot stick car but nothing's impossible.

I wonder if any Audi installation kit will help, also you will need an antenna conversion kit from the twin Fakra plugs.

I doubt it since it is a mid generation Bose system. By 2006 most of the Bose amps were CAN or DATA controlled but it wouldn't hurt to pull out the deck and see what the connector looks like but in the end the amp is still a fiber optic input type amp.

The whole point is that the Bose system probably SOUNDS BETTER than any replacement.
You'd probably have to replace head unit, amplifier AND speakers.
