proximity sensor

Hi all, I installed a Autopage RS-665 r/s to my 02 Explorer. Everything works. Now I would like to install a proximity sensor. The alarm came with a shock sensor that plugs in to the brain. To install the proximity, do I just tap into the RED / BLACK/ GREEN/ blue wires? Do I have to cut the green wire from the shock? Do I need to have another aux port? I would like the warn & full-out modes for both sensors. Alarm installed: AutoPage C3 RS-665 Proximity Sensor wanted: Omega AU-94TM Would this be replacing both sensors or is it just a re-named proximity? Directed 508D Thanks!I love Cheese.

The 508d is compatible, a dual zone prox. You will need 4 x 1N4004 diodes and the wiring is thus:- add_sensor.bmp

One more question. I have installed the siren that came with the alarm. Now I wish to add the factory horn with a pulse in combo with the siren. With chirps, warn, and full-out. Do I need to add a relay for this? Do I tap into the parking lights wire dioded?. As of now, I dont have the relay installed for the dome light, this wire is just grounded (White Wire - Dome Light supervision). Just a note, prior to this alarm install, my factory OEM keyless entry does pulse the horn when a door is opened. The Autopage only uses the siren, not horn. Thanks in advance. I love Cheese.

You need two relays. a) Brown siren output, branch out with an inline 1N4004 diode, band towards relay, to 86. Good grounds to 87 and 85 30 to yellow/light green or yellow/light blue, steering column loom or CSM. White to second relay with an inline diode, 1N4004 with the band away from the relay.85 12V+ constant 5 amps fused to 86 and 87. 30 to blue/black dome supervision, driver kick panel.
