Alright, Spoke with Fortin. Their customer service is something to be desired. I told them what I had and the type of alarm I was going to be installing. I went on to tell him that most modules only monitor the front doors and I was wondering if this module monitored all 4 doors and even the Tailgate. He went onto tell me that the guide tells you everything that you need to know, I then repeated myself, that other modules claim to monitor the doors but never say just the front.
He said that it will monitor the 4 doors but not the trunk. So I will have to run a wire from the trunk in order for it to be monitored.
As for the trunk unlock, he said, the guide says it will...so it will, then went on to ramble all the features that the guide says the module will do. Even though I already knew that and was just calling for clarification.
So, I will hook up the trunk unlock wire to the alarm and see it if works. I'll run a single wire from the trunk to the trunk instant trigger on the alarm and then everything else should be good from there.
I'll follow up in the next couple days, maybe send you a PM so that I can stop bothering people with this. but for the most part, my questions have been answered and there wouldn't have been so many if DEI hadn't changed there wording and destroyed their guides.
