Hey, I'll send someone $5 via PayPal if they'd be so kind as to take a high-res photo of the CM6000's circuit board and email it to me.
A body shop was doing some interior panel work on my ride, and somehow they sliced into my Computstar's antenna cable, and now neither of my remotes work. I've already tried replacing the antenna and cable. I now suspect that they shorted the hot and ground lead in the cable and caused one of the SMD resistors on the brain's circuit board to blow out. The shop is refusing to take responsibility, so I need a high-res picture of a known-good, fully-functional CM6000 so that when I go in there and threaten legal action, I'll have a leg to stand on.
If someone PMs me, I'll give them my email address and send them $5 to their paypal email address once I have the photo. Much appreciated..

151 views, but no takers? Wowsers. Ok, just so we're clear, the photo is obviously off-the-record. I'm not going to drag anybody into anything, here. If after looking at the picture I see that there really is a resistor missing, I'll go into a Pro Shop and have them assist me with "the rest", if needed.
Right now, I just need the photo. There's no Pro Shop with 150 miles of here.. Anyone?

All I have in stock are the CM6200-s models. No CM6000's. Not sure if the antenna circuitry is the same...
Soldering is fun!

Wth, there's 2 more posts now than there was the last time I looked. Why didn't I get email notifications. I was sure I was subscribed to this thread.. Sorry Jeff and lucas, I didn't see your posts.
Anyways, I took it to the closest (Compustar) dealer I could find, and sure enough, they blew something out on the PCB. The damage to the board doesn't seem to be readily apparent to the naked eye, but when the replacement brain works and the other one doesn't... you do the math.
The body took $150 off the work they were otherwise going to bill me for, so it worked out ok. Sorry for not responding earlier, but I thought this thread was totally dead..
