The fact that the truck started with the key and not the R/S and then after it wouldn't with the key is a sign that there is a difference between the key cylinder and the relay bypass resistance. Triggering the security to stop the vehicle from starting.

You can disable the key cylinder by putting the resistor between the passlock2 wires and leaving the key cylinder side unhooked. Permanently disabling the key cylinder tamper security.

I have the resistor in there now and did the 3 sets of 10. Truck fired right up and then I tried the r/s and it fired up as well. Seems like everything is working except for my starter still won't shut off when the truck fires up. When I test the start wire from the r/s alone it turns on and shuts back off after 2 seconds like it should. As soon as I hook it back up to the starter wire of the truck and hit the r/s, the truck starts and the starter keeps on cranking. I also tested the white tach. wire coming off of the back of the gauge cluster, 10v with key in on position and around 6v when running.

How are your connection made? Scotch lock, twist and tape, solder, etc?
I drink current, eat ohms, and bleed voltage

Well I have most everything twist and taped and a couple scotch locks until everything is working properly and then solder.

In the feature selection menu do you have 4) mode select, set for Tach and not the default voltage?
