temp controlled remote start

Anyone out there know of an alarm that can be set to turn on the vehicle when it hits a certain temp?  I saw that an earlier post that said a Viper 5901 had this feature but when I called Crutchfield they said no.  I need this feature to keep my dog from overheating in the summers out here.  I don't usually keep her in the car but I'd like to have this for the times when its absolutley necessary. 

If not, maybe a car alarm where the remote start has no time limit?

Oh and don't worry. I'm a dog love and I'm installing a temp alarm with it.  I wouldn't risk my dogs life.

a dei 556t will trigger the remote start up to once per hour when it hits your preset temp and keeping a pet alive would be difficult unless you set the remote start run to a longer time and even with all that if your pet got in the drivers floor and bumped the brake pedal shutting off the motor you may end up having a pet funeral and a not so good news story about you. its all very risky.yuk

I agree with itsyuk but if you're willing to go ahead, current successors to the 5901 ending in 06 all have temp. and timer control.Test before boxing up.

I actually agree with both of you.  She's a work dog tho and the job makes it necessary sometimes.  It should never be for over an hour tho.  ThanksDcreyop

Compustar does the same, just make sure you have the temp sensor or its a total fail. You can program the temp it needs and then program when you want it to start.
