Funny probably only need to power up, the red, RED / white and RED / black on H3 and connect orange H3 to ACC to turn this into a remote start.

Plus tach to NEG (-) on coil (if gasoline).

its a diesel and a stick. 1993 dodge. if it had a neutral indicator i would remote start it. and i have cut the starter wire and ran the bypass as the directions indicated. i might not have been giving it enough time to totally arm. i pretty impatient. i did connect the pink wire but i did it wrong. direct power. i take this needs to be connected to an ignition wire that is activated in the on position. i will do this this weekend and give it a go. Thanks again for the help.

I haven't used the cutout in a while, so I can't remember if the pink will disarm the system when it gets power.
No, the pink wire reports Zone 5 if powered-up when armed.

Yes, big pink wire needs to be 0-volts at rest. When wired correctly, turning on the ignition when armed will trigger the alarm, and report zone 5 (Ignition). I forgot about the 20 second wait, but that's correct too.
