I got the remote start and all other components working. Here's my problem now..It's a 07 camry.i have to hit the unlock button on the viper alarm before I hit the start button. If I font the factory alarm goes off. When you hit unlock first the remote start works fine

You could connect the Vipers' 2nd Status/rear defogger wire to the Camry's Keysense wire, if you weren't

using it for anything else.
Keysense     Blue (-)     @ ignition key switch, white 2 pin plug, pin 1
Disarm - No Unlock, use keysense

Soldering is fun!

I hooked the key sense wire up to the second status/ defogger output of alarm .the factory alarm no longer goes when I remote stsrt it. Now the doors will not unlock unless I shut down remote start, then unlock or lock doors. Any suggestions

It looks like I will have to connect the lock/ unlock wires from the alarm to the wires in vehicle.even though I'm using dball2 d2d. I went into programming status 2 output and set it to single pulse. I then could unlock and lock with remote start on but it wouldn't passively arm.This alarm should be the death of me!

I am adding my camry locks to my viper alarm. Do I need diodes, if so what way is the band and a right size diode.

No need for diodes direct connection to the vehicle
