The hood pin wire should only show ground when the hood is open. The hood pin wire should not show ground when the hood is completely closed. If it is showing ground when you attempt to remote start it, it will not start and it will show that error.

Looking quickly at this...
First, if you aren't installing a hood pin leave the hood pin wire disconnected. If the brain sees ground on the hood pin input, it thinks the hood is open. Hood closed = no connection on hood pin wire.
Second, for the Blade: you cut the immobilizer wire (the wire that the WHITE/ black and RED / black connects to), right?
Third, several posts up you mention the lock/arm unlock/disarm wires and connecting them to either the Blade harness or the controller's main harness... I have no idea what you're talking about with this.
