I have a DBALL2 that claims to support RAP on a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500. I hooked up the RAP trigger wire to the door trigger per the manual, but RAP functionality still doesn't work. The second I shut down the truck, all console lights, radio, and power windows shut off. Any ideas?

The connection is for RAP Shutdown and appears to be working properly. On remote start shutdown the DB-ALL2 sends out a (-) pulse on the RAP Shutdown wire that simulates a door opening and closing quickly. This turns off the vehicles Retained Accessory Power function.
Soldering is fun!

Ohh, ok.. I was thinking the DBALL2 kept ACC on until it detected the door open. I was wondering why I needed a door trigger when the DBALL2 already knows the status of the door via the CANBUS, so what you said makes perfect sense now. Thanks!
