Viper 5606v for 2007 Toyota Corolla Install

Hello All, I'm new here and as you probably guessed, I'm in need of some assistance. I'm getting everything together to install a Viper 5606v Alarm/Remote Start into my 2007 Toyota Corolla. I'm the timid type and trying to get all my wires mapped out prior to ripping into this thing. Would it be possible to get some help verifying the wire matchups I've already made and help understanding the ones I've failed to identity? Does your Corolla have a chipped key? Some do. You might need a bypass module. Test with aluminum foil wrap. Does the car have the Factory Alarm? Thank you so much for your help! My Corolla doesn't have a chipped key and it just has the lock/unlock on the remote with the red blinking light inside the dash but it's not an alarm. Thank you again for taking the time out of your day to help me out with this. Craig

Other Viper programming : Menu 1, Feature 6, Option 2 for double unlock. Viper strapping : Parking Light jumper to (-) Optional Rear Defroster control : Menu 3, Feature 11 to option 2 or 3 depending on the test results of the Defrost wire shown below : Rear Defrost   BLACK (-)    AT SWITCH Connect Pin 2 BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS/REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT to above wire. I'm having an issue with the Unlock, everything else seems to work fine. I was incorrect on the bypass though, so I had to get a DB3. Everything I'm reading about the 3-pin connector for unlock (Blue wire) say's it's a negative but I measured the wire when I press unlock on the remote and it jumps to almost 3.25v. I applied a ground to the BLUE/YELLOW wire in the car and it operates the door unlock just fine. I searched the settings for the alarm and it doesn't appear to be a setting that allows you to tell it to send a negative signal (double pulse). Any thoughts to why when pressing the unlock button the BLUE alarm wire goes to 3v? Thanks again for all the help on this, overall, besides this unlock issue, everything went right in and worked :).

Perhaps there is something wrong with the Vipers Unlock output. See Viper Menu 1, Feature 6, Option 2 for Double Unlock Pulse. Try connecting the Viper Trunk Release output to the cars Unlock wire. While not a perfect solution, it's a good test and a possible work-around. and finally... If the Trunk Release works, you could program the Viper as follows : Menu 2, Feature 9, Option 6 and use the WHITE/VIOLET (-) 200mA AUX 1 OUTPUT wire as the Unlock output.Soldering is fun!

I'll have to give that a try, I set the door unlock pulses to one and then to double, the double produced two 3v spikes via the BLUE wire, this sucks :(. I'll have to fish out the trunk release wire and see if I can't get that to work and program as you suggested with the WHITE/VIOLET wire. Thanks again for your help, I'll let you know what I find out.
