So am I missing something with hooking this beast up? Theres the main harness, 12v switched, 12v, ground speakers, remote, pwr annt. and all that fun stuff so once constant, switched and ground is hookedup, shouldn't it at least power up, once those 3 wires are connected?
On the back of the unit, there's a 3-wire plug with illumination, ground and constant in it. Would hooking those wires up (at least constant and Ground) to their propper places, power the unit up, or is there something else that needs to be hooked up from the brain?
Heres the set up. The internal amp is not being used because we have a seperate amp running the speakers. So running from the display unit to the brain is just switched, constant, Gnd. Along with the I/F interface plug. Does the foot break, and parking break wires need to be hooked up as well just to get power?
Thanks in advance

the parking and foot brake wires are just to view the picture while stopped (or in just about every case, while driving...)  have you tested the wires with a DMM to ensure 12v constant, ACC and groun?   did you power up the brain as well, or only the head?

Perhaps you have a blown fuse, check the one on the back of the unit itself.  I can't see why it wouldn't power up if you got everything connected properly.  Only thing I can suggest is be sure you have the constant and switch 12v wired properly, make sure they are switched.

All the wires are connected propperly. Constant to constant and switched to switched and gound...well, to Ground. Tried an old beat down Jensen deck, and it powered up so all the fuses in the vehicle are fine. I'll check the fuses on the unit, but for some reason I think theres something internally up with this puppy.
