Guys....quick question. For some ODD reason, i got an idea, so....I hooked up my neons to my speakers + and - and voula they work, they light up to the beat of the music. Now for my question, Is there any way I can damage something? or do I need a relay? they are normal Neon tubes, two 15 inch tubs under the dash, not those that actually are sold to light up to the music.

I would not think it is a good idea to power your neon’s off of your amps output. 1st off your neon’s should use DC and your amp puts out AC. You also want to supply your speakers with good clean power. Not to mention that the neon’s would be robbing your speakers of power since they will be sharing the same power on that channel. And you could run a risk of damaging your amp and or speakers.  I would suggest that you purchase the neon’s that have a special power converter that will go with the rhythm of your bass. And power them from a fused switched 12 volt source.
