I'm about to install a remote statrter on a 97 Taurus, and I was wondering about the lock/unlock system. My wiring chart says they are negative wires. Am I going to need to pulse these with a certain resistance to ground or just straight to ground?  Also, has anyone ever made their own coils around the key and ign. barrel for their transponder bypass?

Thanks

Just hook up the lock and unlock wires from the alarm and it should do the rest. If you have to program the outputs of the locks then do so, otherwise all RS systems have a (-) ground output signal for the keyless entry.  I will email you instructions for the single relay bypass.
