I'm confused guys. I have a 1994 Intrepid, so that's why I'm looking at this topic. One of you said that the Tachometer wire is either Red, Black, or White located at the coil pack on the ENG. But draasch says that it is a Grey, RED / Yellow, or Blue / YELLOW wire located at the coil pack on the ENG.
Can either of you site your source as to why your information differs? Or does anyone else here know why the difference in information, or which wire it actually is? Reason I ask is that I need this wire in the current installation that I am doing.
Also, I have another question: Why could it be any of three wires? Did Dodge not standardize these wires from year to year?
Thanks

It can be any of these colors because it is on the coil pack. One for each of the cylinder's of the vehicle. The information that I have is red, white, or black. I did a 1994 Eagle Vision the other day and I used the white wire on the coil pack located on the side of the engine ( driver's side ) low beside the plug wires.
